Q: Will it work with my existing gate opener?

A: The Universal Automatic Electric Gate Lock works with all single swing gate openers and most 24V gate opener systems from other brands. Your control board needs to have lock terminals (DC 24V output) and provide at least 3 Amperes of current. It does not work with 12V systems or certain models like the AT602 or KD702. The lock connects directly to your control board's -LOCK+ terminals, and operates automatically with your existing remote, no second remote needed.

Q: How does this product work with dual swing gates?

A: The Universal Automatic Electric Gate Lock works with dual swing gates by mounting a single lock unit at the center point where the two gates meet. When you press the remote, the lock automatically releases for 3 seconds to unlock the gates, allowing both to open together. Once both gates close, the lock re-engages to secure them tightly and prevent them from separating, especially useful in windy conditions. The setup requires your control board's open and close delay time to be set to more than 4 seconds for proper operation.
